Our big family outing every year for over twenty years has been to go snow skiing in Snowshoe, West Virginia. During one trip it occurred to me a ski resort would be a great setting for a book. While there that year I interviewed the head of the Ski Patrol who share not only medical information but tidbits about working on the mountain.
